In the foothills of North Carolina, Oak Grove is home for raising our beautiful, purebred Maltese. Long ago we fell in love with the Maltese playful, loving personalities and found that the old saying is true, “Once you’ve had a Maltese, nothing else will do.” A toy breed, Maltese are hypoallergenic so they’re ideal for those who suffer with allergies. We sell all of our puppies “Pet Only” which means we never sell to pet stores or to other breeders and we work diligently to breed exceptionally healthy, beautiful dogs with outstanding personalities. All of our adults are purebred Maltese that have been DNA tested for 200+ genetic health risks by Embark, the world’s leader in dog genetics, and orthopedically approved by OFA, the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Why Maltese?
The AKC (American Kennel Club) states that the Maltese is considered “to be among the gentlest mannered of all little dogs, yet lively and playful as well as vigorous.” They love everyone and everything, including children and other pets. They absolutely are the most loving and affectionate little dog you could ever imagine. They keep their puppy-like personalities into old age. They are quite easy to house break, especially if you do it correctly and follow the potty training sheet we include when you take your baby home. Our particular puppies usually are between 5-6 lbs. Occasionally we will get a 3-4 lb. or 7-8 lb. While size cannot be guaranteed, educated guesses can be made from our experience with these toy breeds.

Shipping, Registration and Health Guarantee
If necessary, we do ship our babies with a lap nanny at the additional cost of the ticket. We offer a twelve month health guarantee in the case of genetic, life threatening defects, such as heart murmur, liver shunt, etc. All puppies have limited registration unless otherwise agreed.
Deposits
Deposits are 10% of sale price and are non-refundable. Puppies will not be held without a deposit.
